Question

A heads up about arriving at the venue…

Answer

Signage will be posted to guide you on your way. Navigation apps tend to take you on a narrow road, so please follow the signage rather than the GPS when you start getting close!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request no children under the age of 5 at the ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive to the venue at least 15-30 minutes early (no later than 4:15 PM) so you will have enough time to find a seat before the ceremony begins! This will allow us to stay on schedule.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to have our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting summer formal attire. Women are welcome to wear their favorite maxi/midi dresses in breathable fabrics, and men are welcome to wear a collared shirt/button down/jacket with khakis/slacks! Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Opt for flats, wedges, or chunky heels, as our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on a beautiful lawn!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

On-site parking is provided, with helpful staff and accessible transportation to get you comfortably to the ceremony. Carpooling is recommended if possible!

Question

Will there be dinner at the reception?

Answer

Yes! After the ceremony, we ask you to join us for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing at The Ellis House.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We ask that only individuals listed on the invitation attend the ceremony and reception. If guests are allowed a plus-one, it will be shown under their name on the RSVP section.

Question

Can I take photos & videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, so we are asking that all phones & cameras are tucked away and silenced during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer & videographer to capture our special moment and will be happy to share these photos with you! After the ceremony, we encourage you to take as many pictures/videos as you like!
