FAQs

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony begins. Afterward, feel free to head over to the reception venue (our home) to mingle and celebrate while the bride and groom take photos! We will arrive 30–45 minutes after the ceremony concludes.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Plenty of parking will be available on the south side of the Historic HighlandLake Chapel. For the reception, parking will be along the street, please be sure to park in the correct direction!

Question

Will there be an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests keep phones put away and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. You’re more than welcome to take lots of photos and capture memories during the reception! Les pedimos amablemente que mantengan los teléfonos guardados y se abstengan de tomar fotos durante la ceremonia. ¡Serán más que bienvenidos a tomar muchas fotos y capturar recuerdos durante la recepción!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire: think of romantic vintage farmhouse. With colors like powder blue, blush peach, dusty apricot, sage green, cream, and cinnamon brown.

Question

What type of shoes should I wear?(for the girls)

Answer

The ceremony will be held in a chapel, so heels are perfectly welcome. The reception will take place in the backyard of our home, so for comfort we recommend sandals or more relaxed footwear. (The bride will be in boots!)

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Catering will be provided by Arte Del Sabor! Dinner will begin at 5:30.
