Freshmen year we met in our first education class, but of course we had no idea what was in store for us. Casual greetings were giving though out our college journey. We finally graduated the same day, and separately started our journey to adult hood. After a year or so Rashad decided to send me a message via social media to catch up and it was all sparks from there!

After months of planning and finding the perfect ring, it was finally time to pop the question. We went on a late anniversary date at FahrenheitCLT sitting in a window seat to capture the skyline of uptown Charlotte, NC. While Iris had no idea of the plan, the moment was quickly approaching. Being that the moment was going to be huge, I felt the need to have it captured so I also hired a photographer to be there every step of the way. After a delicious dinner and a few winks at the photographer, we made our way out on the balcony to observe the city skyline and sit beside the fireplace. After a few pictures on our phones, the fairytale moment we’ve been playing in our head our whole lives was upon us. It was at this moment that we committed to #GoingGraham2022!!!
