8110 N. Scenic Dr. Tucson, AZ 85743
Probably, especially if you are looking to explore the area. Tucson does use Uber and Lyft however for short trips or for after the reception if you are looking to enjoy yourselves!
Last year, average temperatures for the time between October 11 - October 25 was 87 degrees for the highs and 57 for the lows. This is a great time to visit the Desert temperature wise, but dressing in layers will be your friend.

If you have never been to the desert, it absolutely is gorgeous, but does come with it's cautions. Although late in the year, the temperatures still have the possibility to be in the upper 80's, which for some of our guests can be summer temperatures. Although it's a dry heat, the sun is still very much present. Please be prepared with water, sunscreen, and hats if you are going to be exploring during the day, hanging out by the pool, etc. Light sweaters for the evenings will also be a good idea, just in case.
Realistically? Probably not. Chances you will run into dangerous wildlife, although low, can definitely happen. Rattlesnakes are still out and about during October, if hiking, closed toed shoes or hiking boots are smart, for the terrain alone, but if you have an encounter with a rattler, you will thank me later. They are called rattlesnakes for a reason. If you are in their space, and they feel threatened, you'll hear them. The majority of bad experiences with wildlife are due to lack of common sense. Don't be the guy who thinks they can kiss the snake without repercussion. *palm to forehead* Yes, it happens. Common sense goes a long way in the desert, reaching into holes, plants, flipping over rocks, etc. can all be risky. If you are wanting to test the odds, I suggest taking a trip to the Casino instead of trying to be Steve Irwin. If you want a great experience with desert creatures, the Sonoran Desert Museum is an awesome place to learn, see, and touch safely.
This is a tricky one.. We are assuming the majority of those in attendance will have been vaccinated, however, as we are now seeing, that doesn't prevent someone from getting sick. We want our guests to be comfortable, and if you choose to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status, you are welcome to do so. We would kindly ask that if you have not been vaccinated, that you wear a mask when in the immediate presence of others that you would normally not be around. We have some VERY special guests and attendees that are severely immuno-compromised and for their protection, we ask for masks and courtesy when needed. We appreciate your courtesy and patience as we all are trying to find the balance with these new protocols. At the end of the day, we are thankful we are able to finally celebrate with everyone in person!
One of the most important questions, we know. Yes, there will be an open bar available after the ceremony up until last call at 930PM. There will be a selection of beer, wine, flavored margaritas and Moscow Mules. The Venue has a list of standing bar rules that will be enforced, this is your warning to be prepared; no shots, no doubles, no flasks, if you are asked for an ID you will have to present it to be served.
Although drinks are on us, the bartenders will have a tip jar for gratuities.
