The stars finally aligned & we are getting Married !

MANNNNNNNNNN . . . what a journey! And what a blessing it is to call you mine (forever!) 😍 God, lemme take a moment to say thank you . . Thank you for placing Iris in my life, and for aligning us together; two souls with completely different upbringings and cultures (🇩🇴 & 🇲🇽) who grew up thousands of miles across the country from each other (NJ & CA). As miraculous as it was to cross paths on Earth, you also aligned the Sun and Moon for us above on our incredible once in a lifetime moment 🙏🏼❤️☀️🌕🎈 On the morning of October 14, 2023, at 10:34 AM in Albuquerque, New Mexico during the International Balloon Fiesta, we were graced with a rare Annular Solar Eclipse! As the moon eclipsed the sun, it created an incredible 'ring of fire' in the sky for 4 minutes and 42 seconds. While Iris and I gazed up at the sky together, surrounded by family, I shared how deeply blessed I was to have her in my life. The day she was born, her dad also looked up to the sky much like we were, and saw an 'arcoiris' ('rainbow' in Spanish) and decided to name her Iris! Her Dad was intentional with her name and knew that Iris would bring color to his world . . And just like that . . Iris, you have brought color to my life. Just as two celestial bodies aligned during the eclipse to create a unique 'ring of fire', we found ourselves aligned, two souls complementing each other. Surrounded by a rainbow of hot air balloons and reflecting on our love these last 2 years, I couldn't help but feel that God divinely guided us for this perfect moment! I got down on one knee and presented Iris with her own ring of fire on the ground as the eclipse reached its peak in the sky to symbolize our rare, out-of-this-world love. The black pearl, her favorite gem, is a unique reflection of the beautiful gift God has blessed me with. Once I heard the word "YES!" , I felt an incredible excitement for the future and an immense peace in my soul. I pray that God continues to protect what we have amor. May God bless us abundantly with the wisdom to love each other in all the ways that allow us to feel seen and appreciated - para siempre..
