This cozy and beautiful restaurant has its own vegetable garden in the back. They offer wood-fired pizzas and Sako's favorite Cacio e pepe pasta. There's usually a wait to be seated but you can have cocktails in the garden while your table is ready.
This non-denominational chapel also serves as a major work of modern art with massive abstratc murals by Mark Rothko. The Rothko Chapel is near the Menil Collection, which unfortunately will be closed around the time of our wedding, but the area is still beautiful to walk around with open spaces to do a picnic, grab a bite at Bistro Menil, or visit the Menil Bookstore.
