What will the menu be like?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be served at cocktail hour, and dinner will be served buffet style in the reception area. Both will include vegetarian options.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttles will be available for transportation to and from the venue, though parking is available at the venue if you choose to drive. Pick-up will be available in designated locations and run from 2 - 3 p.m. Pick-up locations include Merchant's Park (parking lot and right next to downtown), Hampton Inn Bennington, Knotty Pine Motel, Best Western Bennington, and Harwood Hill Motel. The shuttles will run several loops between pick-up hours. Transportation after the wedding will start at 8:30 pm and will continue for an hour after the reception ends. Drivers will drop-off at any locations within Bennington.

Where will the ceremony take place?

Answer

In case of rain, the ceremony will take place in the mansion at the same venue location. Otherwise, the ceremony will be outdoors. Please be prepared for fall weather.

Will the mansion be open?

Answer

The venue is a historic Victorian mansion currently operating as a museum. During the cocktail hour, guests are allowed to walk through the mansion and tour guides will be available to answer questions.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you're driving to the ceremony, we ask that you please arrive by 3 - 3:15 p.m.
