Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please leave your little ones at home. Unless arranged otherwise.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Wear something comfortable, semi casual dress code - shoes optional. No white outfits!

What is the protocol regarding photo's & social media?

Answer

We kindly request that no photos be posted to social media until we have posted our first picture as Mr and Mrs . If and when you do post to social media please remember to use the hashtag! - #OnceUponAVanDerMerwe We have a designated email address and kindly request that you share any pictures and videos taken on our special day.
