Our Greek Orthodox ceremony will last about 1 to 1½ hours. We understand this may feel long for families with small children. Please come prepared with snacks, quiet toys, or books to keep little ones entertained. The church community and our priest are very accustomed to children and understand they make noise—it’s completely okay! There are also spaces outside the nave where you can take your children if they need a break. For those unfamiliar with a Greek Orthodox wedding, here’s what to expect: -The ceremony includes beautiful prayers, hymns, and symbolic rituals like the crowning and ceremonial walk. -The service will be in both Greek and English, making it accessible for all. -Guests typically remain seated or standing unless directed otherwise. -You don’t need to participate in the rituals—just enjoy the experience! We’re so excited to share this special tradition with you and can’t wait to celebrate together!
