Christopher, my big brother, my protector, my lifelong built-in best friend, and his wife Allie, have both been such a big part of my life. For my something blue, I’ve asked them to represent my Nanny and Poppa on mine and Tyler’s special day. Christopher understands, and has always shared that same deep love for Nanny and Poppa, so having them be a part of this moment feels even more special. Though they’re no longer with us, they meant the world to me, and I want them with me in spirit. Nanny was crazy about blue, so having my something blue in their honor just feels like the perfect way to carry them with me as I step into this new chapter. It’s a little piece of them that will forever be with me, and I know they’ll be watching over us.
