We met on a dating app called Facebook Dating. We both swiped right on each other, but Victor messaged Iraya first. Iraya ignored him for four days because she was over the dating sites at that time. Victor messaged her another time after not hearing from her and Iraya happened to respond this time. During this time they set up a time to meet, when Kaiden was sleeping because she didn’t want to introduce him so early. But of course Kaiden had different plans and came down in the middle of the conversation. Iraya then explained his disabilities but by then non of that mattered. We had already bonded over face rubs and Victor was caught up in a web of love and happiness. Victor left some time later to continue on my way to work. That next day Iraya invited Victor to a family birthday party inspired by the conversation between her and her bestie Holly. To Iraya’s surprise Victor accepted the invitation and escorted her to the party and received a crash course in Kaiden and met her entire family. The party was a success and we went back to talk later that night where Victor told her his intentions with dating and finding “the one”. We both share similar interests on the topic and surprisingly realized that we had more in common than we thought. We have been inseparable ever since. Even though Victor stayed 30 minutes away he was never home because we were drawn to the peace we found in each other. Since then we have grown to experience a relationship better than anything we could have ever dreamed. Victor proposed inside a romantic restaurant on Valentine’s Day in front of everyone. While Iraya was in the bathroom he launched his plan to get the waiter to pretend to take a picture but instead record the proposal. Iraya almost ruined the entire event but Victor was able to keep things on track and ask the big question. We received a round of applause from the entire restaurant. We have shared laughter, sadness, confusion, unexpected situations, and disagreements. And throughout that it has pushed our love to be the foundation to catapult us to an endless forever.
