We are excited to be getting married at the Huguenot Mill and Loft in the heart of downtown Greenville 101 West Broad Street Greenville, SC 29601
Parking can be found across the street from the venue at: 50 West Broad Street Greenville, SC 29601 This is the same parking garage that can be used for guests staying at the Courtyard Marriott
The Huguenot Mill was built in 1882 and is one of Greenville's oldest standing structures. It was the first mill in South Carolina to weave plaid and gingham and first in the upstate to be steam-powered by coal. Restoration of the mill started in the 1990s when the Peace Center for the Performing Arts was developed Greenville is more than just a city to us. It's where our relationship grew and Iqra completed medical school & residency training. We are so excited to show off our beautiful downtown and fall foliage this October!
The Ceremony: American semi-formal attire The Reception: We would love for our guests to lean into the celebration by wearing traditional Indian/desi attire! However, this is by NO MEANS required! Desi attire could be anything from a lehenga, gown, sari, or shalwar kameez/kurta for men. While there are no formal restrictions on color, the bride will be in red If you’re looking for a place to start, we’ve linked a few of our favorite shops and websites to help you find something you will be excited to wear: Global Mall 5675 Jimmy Carter Blvd Norcross, GA 30071 (Some our favorite boutiques: Elan, Mumtaz Fashions, and Ladlee) Lashkaraa https://www.lashkaraa.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopV5r9BNYao1l_peBfHywORoavmakeuzOgB5dvgL09F7uOviN2j Bandhej by Richa 11411 Blue Grove Road Charlotte, NC 28277
