In April of 2021, Katie was given the opportunity to be the payroll contact for the SUNY New Paltz University Police. Ryan was a lieutenant at the time and would email or call Katie with any questions or concerns regarding his squad. July of 2021 was our first encounter at a work meeting, little did we know we’d be together in the future! Fast forward to the summer of 2023, when Ryan came in twice to update his direct deposit. A few times here or there he’d call Katie’s work line for payroll help but on Thanksgiving of 2023 is when Ryan asked Katie to dinner. She made him wait on an answer but in the end said yes (obviously!). December 2023 would be our first date! We have had so many adventures and great times and are so excited for our future together <3
