Shuttle

We’ve got your transportation covered! A complimentary shuttle will pick everyone up from the main hotel area in Platis Gialos, take you to Chrisogipi Monastery for the ceremony, and then drop you off at Lazarou Beach for the venue. Return shuttles will be running back to Platis Gialos throughout the night!

We recommend staying in Platis Gialos, it’s the most convenient area for the wedding weekend! It is just a 7-minute drive to Chrysopigi Monastery for our ceremony and a 5-minute drive to Lazarou Beach for our reception. Specific hotel recommendations and discounts will follow soon!

For those who prefer a more relaxed schedule and the freedom to explore Sifnos at their own pace, we highly recommend renting a car for your stay. Having a car makes getting between the beaches and villages super convenient! Taxi and Bus Information

Sifnos has a very reliable and convenient local bus service. Buses run frequently from the Port of Sifnos (Kamares) to almost all major areas on the island, including Apollonia, Artemonas, Platis Gialos, Kastro, and Faros. It’s an easy, budget-friendly option for traveling between villages and beaches during your stay. Bus schedules are posted at the central stops in Kamares and Apollonia (bus schedule to be posted also here online once available). Taxis are available on Sifnos, but because the number of vehicles on the island is limited, it gets extremely busy especially during peak hours and around ferry arrival times. We strongly recommend booking or calling your taxi well in advance to avoid long waits!
