David and I have a very unique "how we met" story. Our lives seemed to have just slightly missed each other for a long time until fate set out for us to meet at exactly the right time for us to fall in love. We went to the same high school, had many mutual friends, and never met. Our families have known each other for over 40 years and grew up together, and we never met. One of my best friends was David's roommate for over a year, and we never met. Until that very same friend, decided we're perfect for each other...she was right. We met in Summer of 2015, introduced by our mutual friend, Desiree Smith. Desiree called me and said, "I have someone for you to meet. He's cute and I think you'll like him." After some poor excuses to not go the 4 blocks to their house, I gave in and we spent the day together. We had an instant connection and agreed to meet again in the near future. After dinner, drinks, hikes and introducing our dogs, we started dating in fall of 2015. Since that time we've enjoyed some of the same things: hiking, snuggling with our dogs and going out with friends. We love traveling together and are working on going to all 50 states! After 2 years together, we moved in together at my family's farm. After moving all our animals in, 2 dogs and 3 cats, we were settled into spending our lives together. Around this time I looked to David and asked if he loves me, he of course responded yes. Then I asked if he wants anyone else, he of course responded no. So I said let's get married, he agreed and the next day we went and picked out a ring and announced to our families and friends that we're getting married. When the ring came back from the jewelers from being sized, David got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We're excited to be celebrating our love and commitment to each other and look forward to seeing you all very soon!
