Getting to the wedding venue
Transportation to and from the wedding venue from your accommodation will be arranged for the entire wedding party. To get to the wedding venue from the base, there will be a mountain cable car (gondola) waiting to take us to the top of the mountain where both the ceremony and the reception will be held. In the evening, there are several gondola times you can take down if you'd like to leave the party early. Gondolas go regularly until 5pm, and after that they follow a schedule (to be confirmed closer to the date): 6pm, 8pm, 10pm. These are reserved for our party only so, if you need to head down at a specific time, just let us know and we'll make it happen! Your transportation will be waiting for you at the base, ready to take you to your hotel.

Accommodation
Bohinj is not a big area so you will be close to the wedding venue in any hotel or Airbnb in the vicinity of the lake. 💡 Anything within the map area is within a few minutes' drive to the base of the mountain. If you have a question about the location, or need help with booking accommodation or anything similar during your stay, feel free to email us or our wedding planner, Jasna (jasna@pravljicnitrenutek.si). She is based in Slovenia and will help you with anything you might need!

If you don't want to browse for accommodation options, there are 4 double rooms (2 people each) reserved for our wedding party at Danica Guesthouse. Just email them at info@camp-danica.si (CC our wedding planner jasna@pravljicnitrenutek.si) and say you are part of the wedding party for a discount!

If you prefer renting on Airbnb, here's a list of the available ones in the area! If you need help booking accommodations, reach out to our wedding planner, Jasna (jasna@pravljicnitrenutek.si)! You certainly don't have to book from this list, if you have a question about a place let us or Jasna know! 💡 A quick tip: prices in Slovenia are lower than nearby countries within the EU, but if an Airbnb is big and suspiciously cheap, it might lack some modern amenities you're used to.
