They say the best relationships start off as friendships! Joe and Brooke were connected through their best friends, Anthony and Ashley, way back in 2017 while off-roading in the boys’ Jeeps one weekend! They soon found themselves in each other’s presence constantly. From dinners at Chili’s, to bowling nights at all the local lanes, and ice cream at Dippy’s (RIP), they always ended up hanging out together, but just as friends. They continued down their own paths, which included Brooke moving 700 miles away to North Carolina for school, but they remained in touch (even when Brooke would forget to reply to Joe’s text messages)! Things took a turn in the summer of 2019. While home for summer break, Brooke noticed a shift in Joe’s behavior towards her. Turns out, he had been crushing on her for quite a few months! Soon after, they made it official. It was a true “Summer Love” and they were inseparable for the rest of the summer! However, their love would face the true test of time, long distance. Brooke went back to school in North Carolina and Joe faithfully flew down to see her once a month! The next few years were filled with many adventures, college graduations, new jobs and even a puppy! All of which grew their bond even stronger. On January 11th 2025, Brooke’s 27th birthday (risky! lol), Joe took Brooke on a sunset beach walk and popped the question! The emotions were high, even the waiter at dinner later that night had tears of joy, which of course made both Brooke AND Joe burst into happy tears! It’s been a whirlwind of a year, planning the big day and building our forever home! We can’t wait to share it with all of you!
