Our story began the summer of 2018 in good ol’ southern Illinois. Now to rewind just a bit, Haley was nearing the end of her junior year of college in Springfield. While away at college, she received an unexpected text message from Fallon, distant friend/high school teammate. The text was blunt and said, "Hey, are you single?" Haley was a little caught off guard but responded "yes." From there, Haley was forwarded the phone number of Justin, a cousin to Fallon. Anyways, to make an interesting story short, Haley texted back and forth with Justin for several weeks and decided she did not have the time for a long-distance relationship with someone she had not even met. A few months later, Haley returned home for summer break and low and behold Justin persisted. He saw Haley was back in town and decided to give it another shot. It was the next day Haley met him and they went on their first outing, a drive. From there, the rest was history!
Yet again, Fallon made another appearance in our story. As a photographer on the side, she kept telling me about this new camera she got and how she wanted to test it out. She insisted that Justin and I be the models. We met Fallon one afternoon at the Cobden cemetery (one heck of a location right) and she started snapping pics on the bluff. Towards the end, she positioned us in a really spread out back-to-back pose. I turned around, thinking “this is awkward,” and next thing I see is Justin on his knee.
