We're Getting Married

Maddy was enjoying a night out on the town at McGarveys in Annapolis, MD on July 31st, 2016. She and a friend were enjoying a cocktail or two when Maddy began bickering with a gentleman who didn't understand how argumentative this lady can be. Thankfully, the gentleman's friend noticed Maddy's frustration, asked her to sit next to him and offered her a drink to soften the mood. Maddy and the friend (Will) began chatting and somehow they covered religion, politics and their 10 year plan in the first few moments of meeting (everyone knows these are controversial topics and a little heavy for light bar conversation). Maddy was captivated by Will's intellect and passion for God, family and education. Will was intrigued by Maddy's exuberance and commitment to health, family and her profession. They both walked away from this evening thinking that they had met someone special; Maddy even told her Mommom this when they met for lunch the following day. Will texted Maddy, as he said he would, requesting to see her again for a date. Maddy figured this was just another guy that would break her heart, so she blew him off at first. His persistence and intriguing qualities reminded her that he would be different. She decided to meet him for a date in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016. They went to Lupo Verde in the West End District and stopped by the Botanical Gardens to watch the Stinky Flower bloom. The rest is history... They spent the next months traveling to St. Louis, Cleveland, the Florida Keys, going on endless adventures and building their love brick by brick (as they like to describe it). On December 31st, 2017 at 11:53pm in Williamsburg Town Square, Will got down on one knee and asked Maddy if he could be the only man to love her tirelessly and endlessly for the rest of their lives. She said yes and now they cannot wait for you to be there as they make this commitment to each other in front of all their closest friends and family.
