Sydney and Lauren met at Campbell Highschool in the International Baccalaureate Program in 2005. Transferring from her small middle school of 8 girls in a class to CHS, Lauren was sitting in homeroom VERY nervous until Sydney came and sat next to her. From Prom to IB Exams to life, Sydney is always Lauren's "homeroom" level set.

Taylor and Kirby met in 6th grade at Taylor Road Middle school on the school bus. Many hours were spent playing Tribes, Halo, and Counter-Strike in basement LAN parties! Taylor and Kirby have spent many adventures together since River Trail Middle School, Northview High School, and beyond!
Monet Zaccarelli

Monet and Lauren met as Carey Hall Resident Assistants at St John's University, New York in 2011. They then became roommates in Astoria, Queens in 2015. Monet and Lauren navigated their first few years out of college together, yes, that time where real life just hits you like a ton of bricks! They figured out their "adulting" life together and always made sure to have Margarita Fridays ready for weeks when work was just a bit too wild.
Rob Caplan

Rob and Kirby met at Northview High School one day when both missed the afternoon school bus (and after learning they both lived in the same neighborhood). Rob offered Kirby a ride home (where Kirby met Rob's mom) and their friendship has grown ever since. Rob has always been a quick phone call away!
Shelby Chambers

Shelby and Lauren met as Carey Hall Resident Assistants at St John's University, New York in 2011. Shelby has always reminded Lauren to lead with adventure. From Spring Break in the Bahamas to a Summer in Italy, Shelby continues to force Lauren outside of her comfort zone and value experience above all. Shelby is also the mother of one of the cutest flower girls ever, Camilla.

Lucas and Kirby met while working on open source k8s development as DevOps Wizards. Through online gaming, telegram messaging app, and Grill vs Griddle debate (I'm a convert to the Grill). It has been a fun ride and looking forward to having you up there with us on our special day.
Devin Friedman
Bridesmaid
Devin and Lauren met at St John's University, New York as Donovan Dorm Suite-mates in 2009. From the first weekend in the dorms Lauren and Devin became inseparable. So much of Lauren's college experiences and memories feature Devin as the Partner in Crime. As time moves on Devin continues to remind Lauren to never take the serious too seriously and that even in the hardest of times, put on some early 2000s music and have a dance break.

Igor and Kirby met at the outdoor pavilion during sophomore year at Northview High School. Sharing similar friend groups, they quickly hit it off and spent many years growing and bonding. Igor has always been steady, dependable, and a close friend!
Corin St. Julien

Corin and Lauren met at the Atlanta Ballet in 1996. Lauren and Corin just happened to have the same dance bag in different colors. From that moment on they spent much of their childhood the same way: matching Abercrombie skirts with different shirts, matching Nokia phone covers with different colored buttons (what a time). Their mothers became friends and play dates quickly became mother daughter double dates. As a result, they were lucky enough to grow up thinking of each other as family.
Terrance Watkins

Terrance and Lauren met at St Johns University, New York in 2009. They later became RAs in Carey Hall. Terrance is Lauren's big little brother, always making sure to keep Lauren humble and forgetting her togo orders. Lauren can always count on Terrance to help her through anything going on and have the best meme game.
Zuri Singletary

Lauren's niece. Zuri is the first baby that Lauren has really gotten to see grow up from an adult perspective. Lauren's favorite job in the world is being a girl TiTi from art and science projects to introducing Zuri to Lauren's childhood favs like Hocus Pocus. Lauren is so proud of the young lady she's becoming and, as Zuri's biggest cheerleader, she's so excited to see what's in store for her.

Raghu and Kirby were assigned freshman year roommates at Emory University where they have stayed close friends ever since. After many years and many adventures, Kirby has always appreciated Raghu's company!
