Hello…. Brian here. Erin and I met during college working in a country club right around the time the cotton gin was hitting the market. Much like every relationship I have had she did not like me at first, but I won her over slowly through mediocre outdated dad jokes and interpretative dance. During this time we went through the ups and downs of life with Erin surviving my 20’s. There was a moment in which I had a serious complication as result of an injury which resulted me being in ICU for 7 days… Erin was there everyday by my side with snacks. Fast forward to our California endeavors, we loaded up what little we had along with our pup Marley in the car, and took a left at the Big-Chicken until we hit ocean in California and never looked back. It has been a wild ride with the most awesome, beautiful, intelligent, and loyal human, who puts up with me on a daily basis. I look forward to the celebration, to meet new extended family, and to party with you all on a ranch tucked away in the hills of Colorado.
We went on vacation to Moorea, a small island just next to Tahiti, and splurged for the overwater bungalow option. Our first night there when I was getting ready to go out to dinner, Brian secretly closed the curtain to the lanai and picked some local tropical flowers around the bungalow and placed them on the deck. When I was ready to go out I opened the curtain, wondering why Brian had closed it at all. It was perfect, the sun was setting in the background, Brian queued my favorite love song, which will be played for our first dance. He got down on one knee, held out the most beautiful ring and proposed. I began to cry, but managed to say "YES!"
