How do I Get Around Town?

Answer

City living means paying to park, but our ceremony and reception venues have parking. A shuttle will stop by the two reserved hotels to give you a lift to the church; scheduled pick up is 1:25 for the AC Hotel and 1:35 for Royal St. Charles.

What if I am not Catholic?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a celebration of our love through the Sacrament of Marriage, and we welcome you to celebrate with us. Our program will guide you throughout the mass. Please participate to the extent you feel comfortable, and thank you for choosing to celebrate with us.

Why Are They Pulling Ribbons Out of the Cake?

Answer

A New Orleans Tradition from Victorian roots in which friends of the bride pull charms of luck and good fortune from the cake. Each charm has a special meaning symbolizing a wish from the bride such as a life of love, prosperity, or adventure.

Do we have to Second Line?

Answer

Yes. A Second Line is a New Orleans tradition in which the wedding party and guest parade through the streets signifying the start of a new beginning.
