We met at church just a week after Carol arrived in New York from Brazil. A Brazilian girl who lived in my (Carol) area invited me to go to a young adult service, where she introduced us. We became good friends and would hang out every week, until the day that Adam decided to invite me to go check the Christmas lights and have hot chocolate at beautiful Northport Harbor. After that we got closer and closer, I would hang out with his family and spend a lot of time with them. We started asking for God's guidance for the next steps of our relationship. On June 30th we went to Port Jefferson to get ice cream and Adam told me in those sweet words "I'll keep ya"...... AND HERE WE ARE!

Adam and I went to Florida in 2019 to spend New Years, on my last day there we were watching the sunset together and in that moment he was sure he wanted to ask me to marry him but he had no ring or anything planned. When he got back home, he shared with his parents and his mom offered her engagement ring. Adam prayed about his decision and after that prayer God did some amazing things in our lives (we can't wait to share the testimony with you). Finally, on February 29th we had a date and we spent the day together. It was almost sunset when Adam took me to Northport Harbor where we had our first date and he got us hot chocolate, we walked to the harbor and there he got on one knee and asked me if I wanted to marry him. Y'ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED NEXT!!!!
