We recommend booking a room in Midtown Atlanta. We live in Midtown and there is lots to do here. There is also no need for a car in midtown. In fact a car would be a bit of an inconvenience. Between the MARTA (transit system), plentiful rentable scooters, Uber, etc., midtown is easily navigated without a car. Our reception location is in Marietta and we are currently working out logistics in order to accommodate out of town guests with transportation to and from Midtown. We don’t have a room block but below are some recommendations at different price points in the area. We have listed a few hotels nearby, but there are also many great options on Airbnb worth looking at. Most of the hotel recommendations are within a block or two of a MARTA train station (which can be taken directly from the airport terminal), so that’s worth considering in choosing an Airbnb location.

E-Scooters & E-Bikes
Atlanta has become Scooterville. E-Scooters can be found just about anywhere in Midtown. They are a fun and convenient way to get around and see the city. With just a smartphone, you can unlock them for as little as $1 plus 15 cents a minute to zip down the street at up to 15 miles an hour. You can rent the Lime scooters, Jump scooters and Jump e-bikes all within the Uber app! Lyft also has their own brand of scooters accessible through the Lyft app. We also recommend downloading the Bird app. The Birds are everywhere!
