We first met at a fishing shop where I was contemplating buying a fishing rods as part of a new hobby. Keith was looking through the window, saw me and hobbled into the shop for a better view (he was on crutches having broken his Achilles heel). He started up a conversation and we were amazed at how well we got on, so much so that we arranged to meet up at Keith's local Wetherspoons. Unfortunately on my way to the date, my car broke down and Keith was left waiting for over 3 hours. Despite only having one leg to stand on, the moment he saw me he grew a third leg and balance was restored…lol We shared a bowl of chips and had a few pints of guinness which happens to be Keith’s favourite tipple 7 years on, two becomes one as we enter the next chapter in our relationship as husband and wife.
We were on our way to Gran Canary, when Keith complained of stomach ache and needing to use the loo several times (little did I know he was planning his big moment behind the curtains with the stewardesses). My name and seat number was called over the speakers and a steward read out the most beautiful heart felt words Keith had prepared. Keith went down on his knees in the Aisle and asked me to marry him, I was so shocked and of course I said YES!!! We were thousands of miles up in the air, there was no escape!! I could not have asked for a better proposal, I was literally on cloud nine for weeks. Since then, our love for each other have grown tremendously and we're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
