Their love story started one Sunday morning in 2008 when Ingrid arrived at her church choir group and instantaneously locked eyes with Juan Pablo, a new member. Both being shy, they didn't dare to talk to each other just yet. Until one evening, they were out with mutual friends at a bar during karaoke night, and Ingrid couldn't help herself and asked Juan Pablo to join her in a duo. To her surprise, he agreed to sing with her "No Me Ames" by J. Lo and Marc Anthony, a song neither knew. After their off-tune duo, they spent the rest of the evening in flirtatious conversation and laughter. It was now evident that there was a spark between them and made plans to see each other again. It was on their first date that Juan Pablo, after an evening of dancing, getting lost in D.C., and getting to know each other, he asked Ingrid to be his girlfriend. Before answering, she made it clear that she was looking for a serious relationship, which he agreed that he was too. They made it official with the utmost passionate kiss that neither has ever forgotten and embarked on an incredible journey. Their love has only grown and strengthened in the last 11 years and enrichened by their adventures. They experienced many firsts, stood by each other during hard times, made each other laugh, explored the world, then homeownership. After a decade of getting to know each other, Juan Pablo found the right time and place to ask his beloved Ingrid for her hand in marriage. During their romantic trip to France in 2018, he proposed in a garden in Bordeaux complete with a picnic and champagne to "Pop" the question. She smiled from ear to ear and said, "Yes"! We are more than ready for our next adventurous chapter and can't wait to celebrate with you.
