We met the first week of freshman year at Colgate. What started as occasionally crossing paths in the dining hall soon had us going to the training room before practice, hoping to run into each other. Before long, we fell into the habit of inviting each other to every formal until Jacob finally asked Ingrid to be his girlfriend sophomore spring. After graduation, we both moved to New York and spent the next few years figuring out adulthood and exploring Manhattan together. Eventually, Ingrid decided it was time to trade city streets for fresh air and convinced Jacob to head west to California. San Francisco became our next great chapter: sunny days, weekends in the mountains, and enough time outside to turn Jacob just a little bit crunchy. It was also where we realized we wanted to build a life around all the things we love doing together, because most importantly, our favorite part of any adventure is getting to do it together. After nearly a decade of choosing each other, we’re finally making it official. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
