For those planning to stay a few extra days, here are a few of our favorite activities to do in Costa Rica! Please note that many of these require tickets to be bought in advance, so please check each website carefully.

Poás Volcano

Beautiful volcano with gorgeous views! It does require hiking, however, so make sure to wear good shoes and bring an umbrella.

Irazú Volcano

Another gorgeous volcano. This one requires less of a hike, but it is important to go early in the morning!

Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio National Park, Quepos, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica

A gorgeous national park with beautiful beaches and calm waves. Guests aren't allowed to bring food into the park to protect the local wild life, so make sure to have a good breakfast beforehand!

La Paz Waterfall

La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park, Sarapiquí, Alajuela Province, Costa Rica

A lovely wild life reservation with beautiful waterfalls. Also requires some hiking and an umbrella, just in case. Located very closely to the Poas Volcano for those interested.
