We knew each other from high school, but ran into each other at Piano Bar in downtown Gainesville December of 2011. The chemistry was instant. After a first date at Dragonfly & a perfect night on the town, we both knew this was it.

Jimmy planned us an amazing trip for my 34th birthday to Baha Mar in the Bahamas. He even went so far as to plan a photoshoot on the beach! I had been wanting to take professional photos for years, so as part of the gift we had a sunset shoot our first night. It was honestly pretty magical. We were standing on the dock at sunset taking pictures and after a few solo shots I turned around to see him on one knee with a ring! After lots of giggles & tears, of course I said “FINALLY!” ... just kidding. I said “YES!!”
