South Congress
This is our favorite area in Austin. Lots of wonderful restaurants, shopping stores and activities! Here area some of our favorite restaurants/bars on South Congress : Aba, Joann's, Lucky Robot, Two Hands, Junes, The Equiptment Room and more! Shopping Stores: Alo, Lululemon, Tecovas, King Ranch, Madewell, Allen's Boots, Nike, Hermés, rag & bone, etc!
Lady Bird Lake
Lady Bird Lake, also known as Town Lake, is our favorite walking, hiking, running and bike trail. Just a very short walk from The Line Hotel, this trail goes on for miles and is in the heart of downtown Austin!
Terry Black's Barbecue
You can't come all the way to Austin without having some barbecue! Terry Black's is our favorite place to enjoy some fabulous brisket, ribs, potato salad, and everything else! Right on the famous road of, Barton Springs!
Matt's El Rancho
TEX-MEX, What Texas is famous for!! This is a must try spot to enjoy a Knockout Mexican Martini-literally, the famous Matt's queso, and of course the mouth-watering fajitas! While you can expect a little bit of a wait here, you can enjoy all the conversation and drinks at the bar!
The Domain
If you are needing a more "North Austin outing", the Domain is the SPOT! A huge outdoor shopping center, packed with every type of store you could need or want, an large selection of restaurant cuisines, and of course a night-life bar scene!
Butler Pitch & Putt
Needing a little outdoor activity with the boys?? Maybe a walk and watch moment for the girls? Well, Butler Pitch and Putt could be a great activity! A small par-three course that is famous for it's good times and small drives! Located on Barton Springs Road.
East 6th Street
OH YES, the famous "Dirty" sixth street of Austin. Can't show up here earlier than 11:00 pm or you look like a tourist. Lots of dancing, mixed drinks, loud music, and college kids!
Sammie's
Our favorite upscale spot in Austin! The italian food is to DIE for. A nice Aperol Spritz, Cesar Salad, and creamy pasta will make you FALL IN LOVE. Located on West sixth street, (quite an upgrade from east sixth street).
