Trip and I have known each other since the 6th grade. Back then, I used to call him “Justin Bieber” because of his signature hair flips — and if you knew me at that age, you know I had the biggest crush on Justin Bieber, lol! We’d love to say our story was as simple as that but life had other plans. Over the years, we have grown, changed, and followed our own paths. A lot of life happened in between — lessons learned, prayers prayed, and timing that only God could orchestrate. When the time was right, God brought our paths together in the most unexpected way. Last year, a chance encounter at Publix brought us face to face again. What seemed like an ordinary moment quickly became anything but. That brief interaction opened the door to an eventual conversation a few weeks later, which led to a date, and little did we know that day would lead us exactly here. Looking back, it’s clear that God was writing our love story long before we realized it. What started as a childhood connection turned into a chance at something truly special. We are so grateful for the journey, the timing, and the love that brought us together. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
