City Park

City Park

New Orleans, LA

The Bride and Groom spent many of the early days of their relationship walking hand and hand in this beautiful old park! For over 170 years, New Orleans City Park has provided access to abundant natural and cultural resources, connecting Southeast Louisiana residents and visitors to the region’s most-iconic park – with something for everyone. The Park is home to the New Orleans Botanical Garden (the wedding venue!!) Couturie Forest and Arboretum, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, and the largest grove of mature live oaks in the world, some of which are nearly 800 years old. The Park’s 1,300 acres make it one of the largest urban parks in the United States.

Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden

A frequent visit for the Bride and Bridesmaids! The twelve-acre Sculpture Garden at NOMA is one of the most captivating sculpture installations in the United States, with over 90 sculptures situated on a beautifully landscaped site among meandering footpaths, reflecting lagoons, Spanish moss-laden 200-year-old live oaks, mature pines, magnolias, camellias, and pedestrian bridges.

Parkway Bakery & Tavern

Parkway Bakery & Tavern

538 Hagan Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70119

Parkway Po' Boys was the location of the bride and groom's third date. It has wonderful po' boys, a regional sandwich that usually includes hot links or fried seafood. Ask for it "dressed" for lettuce, tomato, pickles and other fixings.

Hi-Ho Lounge

Hi-Ho Lounge

2239 Saint Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117

The Bride and friends love the drink deals and music, but show up for Liberacion NOLA, the Mexican food stand in the back of the bar. They serve up some of the best Mexican food in the city! Great for a late night bar crawl!

Copper Vine

Jacques-Imo's

Jacques-Imo's

8324 Oak Street, New Orleans, LA 70118

Jacque-Imo's is worth the wait for some authentic Cajun cuisine! It's also close to where Kane first attended law school. And you might catch the street car rolling down St. Charles.

Tartine
