The Bride and Groom spent many of the early days of their relationship walking hand and hand in this beautiful old park! For over 170 years, New Orleans City Park has provided access to abundant natural and cultural resources, connecting Southeast Louisiana residents and visitors to the region’s most-iconic park – with something for everyone. The Park is home to the New Orleans Botanical Garden (the wedding venue!!) Couturie Forest and Arboretum, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, and the largest grove of mature live oaks in the world, some of which are nearly 800 years old. The Park’s 1,300 acres make it one of the largest urban parks in the United States.
A frequent visit for the Bride and Bridesmaids! The twelve-acre Sculpture Garden at NOMA is one of the most captivating sculpture installations in the United States, with over 90 sculptures situated on a beautifully landscaped site among meandering footpaths, reflecting lagoons, Spanish moss-laden 200-year-old live oaks, mature pines, magnolias, camellias, and pedestrian bridges.
Found in the same park that hosts the venue, this iconic old cafe serves the best beignets and hot chocolate you could ask for! You may find the bride and groom enjoying a midnight snack if you time it right.
The Bride and friends love the drink deals and music, but show up for Liberacion NOLA, the Mexican food stand in the back of the bar. They serve up some of the best Mexican food in the city! Great for a late night bar crawl!
One of the Bride’s frequented restaurants in the city! Kennedy, the Maid of Honor’s drink of choice is the Gentle Sage.
