IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING!

This love story began one summer evening in May of 2013. It all started from a popular game on Facebook going around "Like This Status And I'm Going To Inbox You What I Think About You" ... India was strolling down social media and played the game with Deandre. He posted the status and she liked it. Can you guess what happened next? If not, let me help you figure it out; in less than 10 minutes Deandre was in her DM! He told her how he felt and that night they didn't speak anymore. The next day, India received another DM. It was from Deandre of course; she then began replying to his message, smiling from ear to ear, interested in what was going to happen next. Just coming out of a previous relationship, India was nervous but excited. The two exchanged numbers, begin to learn different things about each other, share similar interest, and communicate daily. Their friendship lasted for quite sometime when Deandre decided to take things to the next level hoping India would agree to do the same. India and Deandre were both away in college but at different institutions. On their first date, The two both came to Memphis, met at the movies and lived in the moment. Neither one of them could have guessed that a Facebook message would get them this far ... AND THE REST IS HISTORY!

LA has always been on India's bucket list of places to visit, but Deandre went to test it out first. Back in July of 2019, Deandre and a few of his friends took a trip to LA. He came home bragging to India about how he enjoyed the city and told her he would take her one day. "Let's take a trip to LA, I've never been" said India! "Let's do it a week before Christmas and count it as an early Christmas gift", said Deandre. The two booked the trip to leave Memphis on December 13th and arrived in LA, which would make them be there on December 15th. The 15th is significant because they made their relationship official June 15, 2014. Deandre had a plan and he was sticking to it! The two booked flights, finds exciting things to do around the city, and came up with different ideas on how to make this trip memorable. Downtown LA is where they hung out for the time being there. They stayed in a hotel with 30+ floors and they stayed on the 23rd floor, so the view was AWESOME overlooking the city! After two days of exploring LA, the two made their way to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, The Wax Museum, varies malls, different restaurants, site seeing tours, and etc just to name a few. Today is the day; December 15th! The two wake up, get dressed, take a few photos and go about their day. That day was AWESOME! On the cold night of December 15, 2019, the couple takes a late night stroll through the hotel and end up on the rooftop. The lights where bright and there were a few people out that night walking around. Holding hands, talking about their experiences so far, the pros and cons of LA, and just reflecting on the time at hand was a very intimate moment for these two, Deandre had other plans. India turns back looking for Deandre and he's down on one knee. Her eyes filled with tears as he expresses why he’s ready to take the next step! The two continues to live in this moment for many days, gets back home and India lets it out .. "WE'RE ENGAGEDDD"!!
