Gifts

Your presence at our wedding is enough of a gift, but should you wish to buy us something, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our Honeymoon in Greece!

ALL THE IMPORTANT BITS!

Take a look around our site for all the key information about our wedding, below will hopefully answer any questions that come to mind. TRAVEL: you will find on our site we have listed all airports within driving distance to our wedding venue. For guests travelling into Perugia - there is only one flight on the Thursday which the majority of you are on! many of you are renting cars to give yourself the freedom to explore the area, but please let us know once you have booked and have decided not to rent a car as we can organise shuttles in groups. Pisa - this is approximately 1hr 45 mins from our venue; great if you want to sight see before the weekend! there is a shuttle from the airport to Pisa train station, of which you can get to Castiglion Fiorentino, the closest station to our Villa - again please let us know if this is your plan so we can organise picking you up from the station! FYI car rentals do come extremely cheap - its worth it if you are thinking about it! FOOD/ALCOHOL: We are, as you know, having a welcome party on Thursday evening, and will be providing pizza etc. There will be some picky bits available to you in your apartment for breakfast, and on Saturday, the mother of the Bride has kindly offered to host breakfast in the garden! We are providing a set list of alcohol for the welcome party and wedding. This includes beer, wine, gin, vodka, Aperol,, Amaretto, Prosecco and Guinness. If you want anything outside of this list, you will need to bring it yourself. Its extremely cheap at the supermarket, or grab it on the way through duty free. LOCAL AREA: We visited our venue in January to take a look around the local area, and please listen when we say this... there are NO restaurants or shops within a short walking distance... so be prepared to pay for a taxi, jump in with those renting a car or put your walking shoes on for a trip out. Italy, like the Spanish, love a siesta!! no restaurants are open between 4-6pm, so expect a late dinner if you want to travel out to the local town, Cortona on Saturday. ACCOMODATION: Lastly, as you all know, we are hosting our wedding in the same location as the accommodation, and it is beautiful! Our villa is made up of 11 apartments, therefore we have booked two - you can see the second from our main villa. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main villa, and those staying in this will have a shuttle waiting for them in the evening after the reception finishes - we have been advised not to walk across the field at night as there are wild boars roaming around! In total, we have around 17 apartments, this means that some of you in smaller groups (single or couples) may be placed in an apartment with others - but don't worry, we have spent a long time grouping people together to ensure you are comfortable! It is only the kitchen/bathroom you would have to share, you will have your own space. We (Alex and India) will be in Italy from the 1st September - for those that fancy travelling out before the celebrations start, you are able to book your apartment separately if you wanted to arrive at the venue early! please let us know ASAP if this is something you are thinking of, as the villa is only exclusive for us from 5th-8th September. If you have any questions or concerns with the above, just drop us a text!! x
