Malik and India met at Reinhardt University during their freshman year of college and became best friends before Malik asked her out. Malik transferred to Georgia Southern University to continue his education and began his coaching career while India completed her degree at Reinhardt before moving to Statesboro to join him. From there... football has largely dictated their story and taken the two places they wouldn't believe, but all that mattered was being together. After almost six years of dating, Malik popped the question in January 2024! He had planned a surprise dinner with some of their friends in Cincinnati as a 'thank you' after wrapping up football season, little did India know, everyone was actually in on the surprise proposal. After moving to Texas, Malik and India decided to elope. Now, the two are looking forward to celebrating their marriage with all of you in June 2026!
