Perugia is the closest airport to the villa. It is a smaller airport with limited flights but it's worth a look if you're looking to cut down driving time. Distance from the venue: 45km / 45 min by car.

Rental Car

Budget

We recommend renting a car so you have the freedom to explore during your time in Italy. Renting a car and driving in Italy is very similar to the US. They drive on the right side of the road, and major car rental companies such as Hertz and Enterprise are at FCO and FLR. The only prerequisite is to acquire an International Driving Permit, which can be done easily and quickly at any AAA location in the US. We linked a guide that explains it better below.

Perugia Train

If you'd prefer not to drive you can get near Casa Bruciata by train and arrange pickup from the station. TrenItalia has a direct route from Roma Tremini Train Station to Perugia thats about 2.5hrs. From there we can either pick you up or pre-arrange a shuttle pickup with the venue. Alternatively, the venue can arrange for shuttle pickup directly from any of the airports. If you'd like to arrange a shuttle pick up from Rome, Florence, or Perugia, please let us know in your RSVP so that we can let the venue know to reach out to you directly.

Relais The Convent

Majority of events will take place at Casa Bruciata during the week. L'Antico Convento is a property with 8 apartments that is 5 minutes away from the villa. We recommend renting from this property, or another place in Umbria for at least the wedding night (May 10th), and hopefully all 5 days so that you can join us for all events and activities. On the wedding day, shuttles will be provided between both villas.

Legal Ceremony at Loon Lake
