Deanna and Matt's first date was at the Chilis in Montville. Our Thursday Date Night and favorite bartender was at Chilis in New London. But, we have found that all Chilis are pretty fabulous so this one will do.

Chili's Grill & Bar

Opened in 1925 by Frank Pepe and voted best pizza in the world by The Guardian in 2009. Home of the "New Haven Style Pizza" very similar to the OG Neapolitan style pizza. There's another location in Mohegan Sun but this is the home base.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

Thimble Island is another great brewery in Branford. Dog friendly, with food trucks and cool takes on beer. Check Groupon before you go- they sometimes have an awesome deal there.

Thimble Island Brewing Company

The winery is about an hour from us in Branford but is worth the drive- it's Matthew and Deanna's favorite winery in the area. If you do go- make sure to try to Stonevalley Red.

Preston Ridge Vineyard

Lots of great bars, restaurants and gambling. Matthew and Deanna prefer Mohegan to Foxwoods.

Mohegan Sun

Clinton Crossing and the Tanger Outlets offer a range of stores for outdoor shopping close by.
