Kierland Commons is a unique and upscale outdoor lifestyle center located just north of our neighborhood. Our favorite dining options include chef-driven restaurants like Mastro's Ocean Club, North Italia, Zinc Bistro, Tommy Bahama, and The Mission.
The Scottsdale Quarter is another outdoor shopping center, located directly across Scottsdale Road from Kierland Commons, with more great restaurant options. We recommend Etta, Arboleda, True Food Kitchen and Zinburger.
A little further south, Old Town Scottsdale is another great area for restaurants and shopping. Some of our favorite restaurants include Olive & Ivy, Culinary Dropout, Diego Pops and The Montauk. There are also lots of fun bars and clubs - perfect spot for an after party!
If you're looking for something more active, there are lots of great mountains to hike near Scottsdale. The most popular is Camelback Mountain (specifically Echo Canyon Trail). This is more of an intermediate hike, but the views are amazing at the top! If you're looking for a more leisurely but still scenic hike, we recommend Gateway Trailhead - McDowell Sonoran Preserve.
