Inbal: I was supposed to go to a volleyball game, but it got cancelled. Instead, I decided to go to this networking event with a friend from work. When I came in, the place was full with young professionals, but there was this one guy who was so well dressed and was in the middle of attention. "Who is this guy?!" I though to myself. But before I knew it, a couple of chats later, I found myself chatting the night away with that very same guy. He was charming and a gentleman, so I said yes when he asked to give me a ride home. David: I was late on my first date with Inbal. Not 5 minutes late, not 15 minutes late, but a full hour, thanks to traffic on the Queensway. I called ahead of time to apologize but I knew I wasn't off to a good start. The comedy club we went to was phenomenal, had Inbal laughing so much so that she didn't see me accidentally spill my beer and did not see the beer foam rising out of the carpet; smooth. The dessert place down the street went really well and I was counting the days until I saw her again.
Two and a half years later, we went to the very same networking event. Later on that night, while crossing Queens Park, the very same trail that we took on the night that we met, David turned to me, went down on one knee and asked me the one question that made me so happy I missed that volleyball game two and half years ago. In between sobbing and laughing, needless to say the answer was "YES!". We are so excited to celebrate this special day and the next chapter in our lives with you all. We can't wait to see you at Liuna Gardens on May 23, 2020.
