Inaara and Nomaan first met in 2019 at the University of Texas during an IMSA meeting. Nomaan made several brave attempts to get her attention, but Inaara - busy with her presidential duties - was rushing from task to task and didn't quite take the hint. Undeterred, Nomaan walked away knowing one thing for certain: she was the one. While his attempts to connect during school didn't quite work, fate was on his side. When Nomaan moved to Dallas after graduation, he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his dream girl walking through Jamat Khana. Their paths crossed again during Devotional Night, where Inaara was emceeing. Nomaan was on mic duty, finding reasons to adjust her audio and steal a few extra moments of small talk. What started as shy waves across Jamat Khana slowly turned into real conversations. After a few (nine!) hopeful attempts, Nomaan finally convinced Inaara to meet him for coffee, setting fate’s plan fully in motion. What was meant to be a quick coffee stretched into hours of nonstop conversation. By the end of the first date, their connection was undeniable and the two knew they had found something special. When Inaara started her MBA, they braced themselves for long-distance. But once again, fate had other plans. Nomaan was unexpectedly sent to Philadelphia for work, arriving just in time to surprise her for Valentine’s Day. During Nomaan's time in Philly, Inaara took him to class - testing his charm and his smarts - and knew he was the one after he survived the professor's cold calls! From there, their love continued to grow through countless FaceTime dates, salsa classes (performing together at Wharton's Dance Studio!), and exploring far too many cookie shops. In October 2024, Nomaan asked Inaara to spend forever with him, and she said yes! Since then, they’ve been soaking up every moment of their engagement and preparing for the next exciting chapter of their lives. As their long-awaited wedding weekend arrives, they are beyond excited to celebrate their love with the people who mean the most to them.
