Uptown Alley Richmond

This is a higher end bowling alley/arcade/bar very close to the venue.

Windy Hill Golf Course and Sports Complex

There is golf, driving, putt putt, and go karting. Magnolia Green is also good and not too far away for regular golfing.

Maymont

This is a large walking garden in the center of downtown Richmond with old manors and ponds. The Japanese gardens and Italian gardens are popular locations.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

These gardens are a bit farther north of Richmond, but are large and include a butterfly exhibit.

Pony Pasture Parking

There are neither ponies nor pastures here. This is a popular trail along the James River with secluded areas where nature lovers or hipsters enjoy swimming or having a picnic. You can also book class II white water rafting here.

Midlothian Mines Park

This is a nearby area for a walk around a large pond. This was a coal mining location from the 1730's until the 1930's.

Short Pump Town Center

For shoppers- this is the most popular and nicest mall in Richmond. It is a large outdoor walking mall with fountains, 2 levels, and many restaurants to choose from.

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

200 North Arthur Ashe Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23220

A popular and large museum downtown. Other popular locations include the Science Museum of Virginia, Edgar Allen Poe museum, and the Holocaust museum.
