When we reflect on our journey, it’s hard to believe it all began in middle school. We started as just a couple of kids navigating the halls and sharing laughter among the chaos of pre-teen life. Our friendship blossomed over shared jokes and goofy moments, laying the groundwork for something deeply special. High school turned our friendship into something exhilarating. We’ll never forget that first kiss! Courtney couldn't help but brag to her track teammates that Courtney had kissed "the cute tall basketball guy." Little did we know, Tim’s older brother overheard and raced home to announce to their parents—talk about a hilarious twist! Our journey hasn’t always been easy, though. Together, we weathered high school drama, tackled college stress, navigated the uncertainties of Covid, and faced the heartache that comes from losing loved ones. Tim’s laid-back nature and talent for fixing things grounded me in those tough moments, while Courtney's crafty spirit and caring heart helped us find humor and joy against all odds. Each challenge strengthened our bond, reinforcing our love and commitment to one another. And then came the unforgettable moment in the Outer Banks, where Tim proposed at sunset. Courtney was lost in drawing the sky when he got down on one knee. It felt like time stood still, focusing on all the laughter, love, and resilience we had built together. As we celebrate our wedding day, we are deeply grateful for each of you. Thank you for being part of our journey.
