Meet the Schmuckers!

Tony and Myah met on the popular online dating app, Hinge back in October of 2023. Myah never believed in online dating but decided to give it a shot. They matched and Tony asked Myah to go to the Proctor farmers market, which if anyone knows Myah, she LOVES farmers markets. After first grabbing coffee and roaming around the market for an hour or so, neither of them wanted the date to end. Tony suggested continuing the date and getting lunch at Peaks and Pints. Here they spent the rest of the morning yapping until Tony had to leave due to having plans to help with grandma (cue Myah swooning here). From there, Myah immediately deleted the app and waited impatiently for the invite for the next date!

In October of 2023, Tony came across Myah on Hinge. Commenting on a photo of her volunteering with Ability First and was instantly drawn to her smile and heart for helping others. But now for the hard part…planning a first date. Tony settled on the Proctors farmers market in Tacoma, with the hope that if things went well he'd have some options to be "spontaneous" ;) And let me tell you, from the moment they first spoke to each other, immediately everything felt easy. It helped that Myah was petting a dog outside the coffee shop, thank you for the Ice-Breaker Mr. Golden Doodle. As they walked through the market, the conversation flowed so naturally that it felt more like catching up with an old friend than being on a first date. Tony didn’t want it to end. So he took a risk and asked if she wanted to keep the date going and grab lunch at Peaks and Pints. We spent the rest of the late morning trading stories, laughing, and realizing just how much we had in common, from our love of music to how curious and engaged she was in everything Tony had to say. Eventually Tony had to leave to go help his neighbor, which most know was his grandma, she needs her rummy partner! On that drive home, he knew that he wanted to build something special with Myah and so the courting process began.
