It all started at Lindenwood University in Missouri. Thank goodness for that! Imari and I started dating our sophomore year of college, in 2015 ( seems like so long ago). We began as friends, but after a little while he found himself head over heals for me. In his words, he started to fall in love with me. I, of course, was falling for him too. How could you not love that smile! After asking me to be his girlfriend, we have been happier than we ever thought possible. That happiness quadrupled when he proposed in Yosemite. Throughout the years, I'm sure many of you have seen our adventures. We found our love for traveling and hiking when we got Bailey, our dog who is treated like our daughter. We grew very close with the thousands of miles we have hiked together. Hiking all day up a mountain can really test you and your relationship. It has made us stronger people mentally and physically, and it has made our relationship stronger. We have been all over the United States, and we have a love for encouraging others to travel. Colorado is one of our favorite states to visit. We could not get married without it being somewhere that both of us love so deeply. Our first camping trip together was in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and that is where we caught the travel bug. His family has loved me like I have always been a part of the family, and my family has loved him the same. After moving to Texas with Imari and being welcomed by his family, we began our life after college. While it is always a little crazy after school, we found our roots in Midland, Texas. We have taught each other so many things, and helped each other grow so much. We are so excited to build a future together, and we love sharing our happiness with everybody. We hope you love the beauty of the area as much as we do. “The mountains are calling, and I must go." -John Muir
