Their story began one weekend when Nikko was home for a wedding and Imani had a spontaneous night out with friends. A mutual friend connected them on that Saturday evening, and when they exchanged numbers the following Monday, they have talked every day since. From that moment on, their connection was undeniable. One of the highlights of their relationship was the first three months when Nikko was living in Idaho. Despite the distance, they made the most of their time apart by spending every possible moment on FaceTime. Those late-night calls and shared experiences helped them build a strong foundation. One of the most memorable milestones was their engagement. Knowing how much Imani loves wild animals and had always dreamed of riding horses in Compton, Nikko planned a surprise that was both thoughtful and personal. They rode horses down Wilmington in Compton, and when they returned, their closest family and friends were there to celebrate as Nikko proposed. It was a perfect blend of their passions and the people they cherish. Since they met, their lives have intertwined quickly. Their families have become close, and they’ve built a life together that includes growing their businesses and purchasing their first home.
