October 22, 2020: Imani went to Alabama to surprise her twin for their birthday. Nathaniel and I'Endai were good friends at Alabama A&M, so she met Nate during the festivities. We engaged in light conversation, and that was that. August 8, 2021: A year later, right before Imani moved to DC, she stayed with I'Endai for a couple days. At this point, he and Nate were roommates, so Imani was able to hear some of their conversations, and Nate seemed like a genuine dude who loved the Lord frfr. Later, before Imani left for DC, they talked about their undergrad majors (both psychology), post-grad things, and such --- which is when Nate told her, "I heard you're like a genius :)" (he was crushing on her highkey). September 25, 2021: Imani could not shake this man off her spirit. So after about a month of thinking about Nathaniel, crushing on him, seeking advice from people about how/if she should reach out, she finally texted him using a Spongebob gif. And now, here we are :)
