As much as we don’t like to sound like a cliché, we first met on Facebook. What started as two strangers exchanging words of encouragement—both newly beginning our loc journeys—quickly turned into daily conversations that felt like catching up with an old friend we’d known forever. At the time, we knew we were both on our own paths with vision of where and who we wanted to be. A loving relationship wasn’t top of the list in either of our plans (we still laugh about this!). It’s crazy how God works and truly must laugh at OUR plans. What we didn’t know then, but would soon discover, was that our separate journeys were actually leading us to the same destination: each other. While we seemed different in ways, we seen how alike we truly were—emphasizing love for our family & friends, our faith & beliefs, love of music and an appreciation for laughing often. Neither of us were looking for love in the beginning but when we found it in one another we decided not to let it go. Now we get to carry that love to the altar, say our “I do’s,” and begin the next chapter of lives—together ❤️
