What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is a free parking lot on Douglas Ave. **Due to a city event being held that evening, the parking garage at 150 Dexter Ct, Elgin, IL 60120 will be closed**

Do you have hotel suggestions?

Answer

Yes! If you check out our travel page we have a hotel block we would love for you to join. As an added bonus our hotel will have a shuttle to and from the event

Is there a shuttle provided to and from the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle provided if you stay in our hotel block.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know your plans by August 22nd, 2022. All those who do not RSVP prior to this date will be marked as not attending. We hope you understand and hope we get to celebrate together!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We truly wish we could invite all our guests’ children to our wedding however we are only able to invite some of the children of our immediate families. You will see your child's name on your invitation and in your RSVP group (If RSVPing online) if we are able to accommodate them. We do hope you all understand!

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will occur at the same indoor event hall, The Highland Loft in Elgin, IL.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will only close during dinner but you will still be able to get non-alcoholic drinks at that time. There is also a wonderful whiskey tasting room at our venue but this is not included in the full bar. If you would like to partake in the tasting room please bring a form of payment.
