Where do I begin. I met Chauncey in High school in band class. He played the trumpet and I played the tenor saxophone. At the time he was a senior and I was a freshman so he was not paying any attention which is fair lol. We reconnected when I ran into him at the gas station near our parents house, (our parents stay in the same neighborhood) crazy right. Chauncey was pumping gas and I walked out the gas station, saw him and his nice Mustang GT 😊. First thing I said was CHAUNCEY!!!!! Lol, he said oh snap Imani?! And then we hugged and went our separate ways. He was on my mind the whole day and I ended up reaching out to him on Instagram ( I think he reached out actually lol but he’ll say otherwise) and got his number. From that day forward we began to reconnect, got closer and fell in love. ♥️♥️♥️ We officially started dating April 13, 2020 one of the best days ever. My pumpkin ♥️🔒💍

It all started in High School when the new freshman we're introduced to the Marching Band. We didn't talk at all because of the age difference, but the band wasn't big so I knew of her. I'm pretty sure she knew me because I was the trumpet section leader haha. A huge gap intervened as I headed off for college. Five years later I'm at the Citgo gas station down the street from my house. I'm pumping gas and I see Imani walking out of the store. We both recognized each other and greeted each other with a firm two arm around the waist hug. She was a breath of fresh air; happy, energetic and delighted to see me, and I felt the same about her. Something different happened that day. I later received an Instagram message and we chatted for a while, it was then we realized we lived down the street from each other, what a coincidence. We talked for days on end and I had to break it to her that I was following up my studies in Baltimore for a few months, but I told her I would be back. It wasn't long until on that journey up the road, I got a call from her and just knew that wasn't the last of us. When I got back, I made plans to make her mine and made sure I asked her mom if everything was cool. Our first date was at the gun range in Powder Springs and we hit it off since! I love you baby!
