TWO BECOME ONE

My mom is at Fridays restaurant with family and her friend. The waiter (Rob) greets the table politely and so corteously. My mom immeditely recognizes how kind the waiter (rob) is. After a couple of margaritas my moms friend asks , Rob if he is single? Rob replies, “ Yes He is single but sorry he is not into guys,lol”! My mom friend insists it was not for him but for me(Imani). My moms friend asked if Rob would like to get to know an educated college woman who is very kind ? Rob says“oh its for her, yeah i dont mind! So Rob writes down his number on a piece of paper! My mom who sees my look of embarasment, takes the pleasue to write down my number for ROB to call, knowing i wouldnt call! After this embarassing setup, i ran out of store without looking back! A week later, I get a text from a guy named ROB! He writes hey its Rob, guy from fridays! Im like OMG what do i do? He asks if we can talk over the phone? Bitting my naiIs,I agreed. I thought he was cute so i was shy to talk! Rob calls, all of sudden my cat Kissy kitten jumps on the bed and it whines up hitting the hang up button! Rob calls back and is like hey is everything alright? You keep hanging up on me!! I told him it was my cat, till this day he still doesnt think it adds up! Ironically, even with such interruptions and disconnections he managed to ask me out to eat. Monday Novemeber 4, 2013 we had our fist date!We went to Applebees, not that excited, as i was overly dressed in heels and costume jewelry he unknowingly surpised me with more! After eating Rob spontanously says “Lets go bowling”! Super excited and tummy full, we went. It was there at the bowling alley when i felt his kindness and gentleness! He taught me new techniques to bowl! I guess Gutter balls first date may not be so attractive but he took the time to show me form! Then i kicked his butt ! From that day on we have been inseperable! Spending everyday together in each others presence, living under divine destiny! Thank you mom!
